When Can We Expect Season 12 to Hit the Screen?

Amidst the WGA Writers’ Strike situation, the release of the twelfth season might be delayed, if not certain. However, American Horror Story Season 12, reportedly titled ‘Delicate’, is most likely to premiere on FX on 1 August 2023. It is only 10 months following the latest season, AHS: NYC.

What Will ‘American Horror Story: Delicate’ Be About?

The upcoming season is based on a forthcoming novel ‘Delicate Condition’ written by Danielle Valentine. The book is a gripping thriller following Anna Alcott who begins to suspect that a sinister figure is going to great lengths to make sure her pregnancy never happens. The story explores themes of motherhood, pregnancy, and the horrifying reality of men having control over women’s bodies.

This season might be a little different since Ryan Murphy appoints Halley Feiffer as the new primary writer and showrunner. She is well known for her past works, such as Dear Edward, Mozart in the Jungle, American Crime Story, and more.

The Casts of ‘American Horror Story: Delicate’

American Horror Story fans would feel glad to know that the show will have Emma Roberts returning as the primary protagonist, but who else is in the cast? Alongside Roberts, Kim Kardashian is now joining the AHS wheelhouse. Her role as Tanya is going to be her largest acting role to date. 

In addition to Roberts and Kardashian, supermodel Cara Delevingne is also joining the cast, alongside Michaela Jaé Rodriguez of Pose, Matt Czuchry, and Annabelle Dexter-Jones of Succession. Denis O’Hare and Zachary Quinto as American Horror Story alumnus are all returning for the twelfth season too.
