The WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes continue to drag on and this event affects various upcoming movies. Due to the strike, actors will not be able to do press for any movies, which means even the highly anticipated ‘Dune: Part Two’ release date has to be delayed to 2024. All Dune cast would not have been on the press circuit for the big-budget film.

What Will ‘Dune: Part Two’ Be About?

Dune is a movie based on a 1965 science-fiction classic novel with the same title written by Frank Herbert. The first part of the movie (which covers the first half of the book) follows the emotionally epic adventure of Paul Atreides, a smart and talented young man with a big destiny he doesn’t fully grasp.

He has to journey to the most dangerous planet in the universe to protect his family and people. The planet holds a valuable resource that can unleash humanity’s potential, but only those who can overcome fear will make it through.

The second part of the movie will focus more on Paul and Lady Jessica’s time with the Fremen. Chani will teach Paul the Fremen ways and support his fight for Arrakis. The story will also delve into how complex Arrakis is with their religious conflicts, where legends and prophecies are manipulated to influence the people through politics, technology, and the environment. ‘Dune: Part Two’ is going to be a more epic and action-packed war movie.
