How to Farm Assassin’s Creed Mirage Leather, Steel Ingots, and Components

Assassin’s Creed fans are in for a treat with the release of Assassin’s Creed Mirage. While the game takes a different approach with its gameplay, upgrading your character’s gear is still a must. To do that, you’ll need three crucial materials: Leather, Steel Ingots, and Components. In this guide, we’ll show you how to farm these vital resources.

In AC Mirage, even though the game has moved away from RPG mechanics and gear progression, upgrading Basim’s gear and weapons is still a significant part of the experience. Leather, Steel Ingots, and Components are the linchpins for enhancing Basim’s equipment, from weapons to outfits and tools.

To accumulate Leather, Steel Ingots, and Components in AC Mirage, you’ll want to complete substantial tasks. Most chests in the game contain these materials, and quests also offer generous amounts, alongside other special rewards.

If you’re looking to stock up on these materials, consider the following strategies:

Resource Chests

Resource Chests are your primary source for all three crafting components. They stand out with their distinctive yellow highlights when you use Eagle Vision, making them easy to spot as you explore the game world.

• Your trusty eagle, Enkidu, can also lend a hand by helping you locate these chests, which are marked by tall golden pillars.
• Each time you open a Resource Chest, you’ll receive a significant amount of Leather, Steel Ingots, and Components.

Complete Contracts

Take on optional Contracts available at the Contracts Board in any Assassin Bureau within Baghdad. These side quests not only grant you valuable resources but also clearly specify the rewards you can expect.

• While most Contracts offer a mix of all three materials, keep an eye out for bonus Contractor Requests that offer additional resources when you meet specific criteria.
• Plus, this is an excellent way to earn Favor Tokens, which come in handy when dealing with Baghdad’s Scholars, Merchants, and Mercenaries.

Pickpocketing

A reliable and widely-used method for acquiring materials involves pickpocketing the NPCs scattered throughout Baghdad.

• Approach an NPC cautiously, and you’ll receive a prompt to guide you through the pickpocketing process.
• Successful pickpocketing attempts can result in obtaining either steel ingots or leather, and your chances of getting drops increase with consistent efforts.

Buy from Traders

While purchasing materials from Traders is the most direct approach, it can be costly, particularly early in the game when Basim’s income sources are limited.

• Traders, identifiable by a white bag icon, offer each of the three crafting components for a few Dirhams each.
• To boost your finances, consider selling Trinkets and opportunistically pickpocketing as you explore the city.
